Women's LZR Racer® Elite Recordbreaker Kneeskin

Torn within 4 months

Within just 4 months of wearing the swimsuit during racing one of the seams is torn already. Before that is was a great swimsuit. According to my 13-years old daughter racing was easier and much faster.

Excellent stuff!

It's not the comfiest suit, but it's not designed to be. But the job it's meant to do its absolutely amazing at doing! You feel fast, quick & streamlined throughout the water.

Great Suit But!!

This suit was bought for my 11 year old daughter and is now almost a year old so I thought now would be a good time to write a review. My daughter loves the suit and prefers it to any other performance suit she has had in the past but Speedo really need to think seriously about manufacturing their top suit in smaller sizes and improving the durability of the suit. As my daughter only wears the suit for competition and chews her finger nails down to the quick we were disappointed that the suit developed a small hole after only 6 months, which gets a little bit bigger every time she pulls it on. As members of a large competitive swimming club a number of the swimmers own this suit and we can report that other brands of suits are proving to be more durable whilst also being less expensive, with Regional's looming large we are now in the market for a replacement suit although we are tempted to go for the Speedo again we probably won't due to the durability factor.

Best suit ever!

This suit is really amazing. It makes you feel powerful when you swim in it and the first time i raced using it i knocked 10 seconds in my 200 frontcrawl and won 3 races in my age group!
The only problem with it is that it isnt the most comfortable suit to wear but that is only because it is tight which is because its a racing suit.

Greatest Suit to be Legal

The suit was excellent. The thing fit fine it only lacked in comfort because it was a racing suit and needed to be tight. The first time I wore it,I took 5 seconds off of my 200 breast. This means I have qualified for nationals! Best suit on earth at this moment. No more supper tight suits which take an hour to get on. Kept on wrecking my rubber one every time!

Like many competitive swimmers I was very unsure about purchasing the new range of so called "FINA Approved" suits, but needs must seeing as our current suits are being banned from Jan 2010.
For me performance suits need to give me that advantage over my fellow racers, without compromising style and fit. So, I reluctantly shelled out £220 on this suit after only buying the previous LZR Racer just before the ban was announced and I’m happy to tell you all, this suit is great.
The main difference being is that the panels have gone and the suit is seamless which gives me the same power as before.

Another plus for me is that this product is Speedo - a brand I trust and know will give me a quality product!
